The immediate pain of seeing a child upset, resentful, or even angry is a heavy burden for any parent. Yet, this transient pain is a necessary step towards instilling values, boundaries, and character in the child.

Conversely, the pain of regret from avoiding discipline is profound and enduring. It's the heartache of watching a child navigate life without boundaries, making avoidable mistakes, and facing unnecessary hardships. This pain is not momentary; it's a haunting echo of missed opportunities to guide and shape a young life.
